Here's a short and sweet way to end the year. Or the day, the week, the month, your class period, your concert, a visit to or from someone... You get the idea. Rather than make it too deep and emotional, we decided sometimes it's best to just say, "So long!"

The lighthearted jazzy accompaniment helps keep it smile-worthy, as do the lyrics: "By the time we finish this song,... it's time to say so long." The simple call and response melody makes it super easy to learn, too. (from Music K-8, Vol. 30, No. 5)
