This little call and response tune is very easy, making it ideal for younger age groups. Not only can they practice being leaders and followers, they get to sing together a bit as well, plus they do it all while moving around the room. More than that, the three verses – pick up your feet, lift up your hands, and put on a smile – offer suggestions for simple actions they can perform while moving around the room, encouraging coordination and multitasking. You can, of course, change these to actions of your own.
