A Joyous Collection For Young Voices

We bring you this joyous collection with some of our favorite Christmas songs from over the years. Representing the Christmas season in a wide variety of styles, these eight tunes will be a perfect addition to your holiday music repertoire! Includes:

• It's Great To Be A Kid At Christmas Time - This happy, joyous song will appeal to kids experiencing all the fun of the season. Use our choreography video or add movement of your own to enhance your performance.
• Celebramos Juntos - Christmas is the time to celebrate together, and that's just what this song suggests… in Spanish and English. The song also offers students the chance to do more than just sing: They get to clap and ring handbells, too.
• Christmas In The West - Reminiscent of some of the great western movie themes, this song makes a joyful statement about the holiday season "out west." The recorded orchestration is rich, with a horn line that really soars!
• Christmas Lights - Painting a beautiful holiday scene, "Christmas Lights" is designed to spread the warm holiday fuzzies! The melody is very singable, and part 2 is optional. If you wish, let some students play along on simple rhythm instruments.
• Christmas Makes Me Sing! - A little gospel two-beat ought to get your students moving while singing about the season! In fact, this lively song is so easy to learn that you might even have your audience joining in after the first couple of verses. Another neat thing about this song is that you can substitute any occasion, place, or person for "Christmas."
• Brown Christmas - "Brown Christmas" is a whimsical song about a mom who would rather not deal with the negative aspects of a white Christmas, like shoveling snow and cleaning up after the kids track in the salt and snow. The unison vocal line is stylized in the fashion of the great crooners of the '50s and '60s.
• A Hawaiian Christmas - Let this song get your students in the spirit for Christmas: a Hawaiian Christmas! Hawaiians love to put up lights and decorations and have festive luaus. We made the recorded accompaniment for this song sound very Hawaiian, of course, complete with slide and acoustic guitars, bass, and ukulele. Mele Kalikimaka!
• I Really Need Christmas This Year - The traditions, the comforts, and that overall feeling that surrounds and soothes us at Christmas time helped to inspire this country pop-flavored tune. Presented as a 2-part piece for your young singers, it also works well as a feature for a soloist.
