Dancing In The Moonlight
From Plank Road Publishingby Teresa Jennings/arr. Paul Jennings
This upbeat, lively piece will have your students movin' to the music! Besides our usual rhythm section of piano, guitar, bass, drums, and percussion, we feature a wind ensemble which includes four trumpets, four trombones, two horns, and four saxes. You may want to play just the instrumental tracks for your students as part of a listening exercise. Vocals are unison throughout, and despite the tempo, it lays well for singers.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase any talented young dancers in your midst! Or just do a group routine with hand jives. (from Music K-8, Vol. 10, No. 4)
