Quest Of The Three Kings

From Plank Road Publishing

arr. Paul Jennings

You may think you've stumbled onto a soundtrack from a forgotten Cecil B. DeMille sand and sandals epic, but we are just setting the mood for one of our favorite carols, "We Three Kings Of Orient Are."

Our arrangement is set for full orchestra with three recorder parts: two sopranos and one alto. The first soprano part (Low D, E, F#, G, A, B, C, D) stays close to the melody while the second optional part requires only G, A, and B. The alto part is suitable for a beginning alto player (G, A, B, C, D, E, G). Consider adding a simple hand drum part, small triangle, or finger cymbals for a performance. (from Music K-8, Vol. 24, No. 2)

(Run time: 1:54)
