I am starting to teach my 4th graders the first part of the cup game, so we can play it while we practice our Veterans Day songs. I wait until they really have the words down, and then we play while we sing. I also play "Hot/Cold" with them to help solidify the cards. We hide something in the room and sing louder as someone gets closer to it and quieter as they get farther away from it. Just another way to keep practicing from becoming boring as we get closer to the program.
