My students love Recorder Karate! My idea is to order those silly rubber bands for the children. Buy different colored ones to match the different belts. Students wear them to school on their music day. If they forget to wear them, they have to start over. If they lose them, they have to pay $0.50 for each band, or if they reach black belt: $.50 x 9 = $4.50.
