Treaty Of Paris (America's Ratification Day)

From Plank Road Publishing

by John Riggio

The Treaty of Paris was signed by representatives of the U.S. and England on September 3, 1783, ending hostilities and establishing territorial boundaries. It was officially ratified on January 14th, 1784, also known as Ratification Day.

The song "Treaty Of Paris" is a patriotic anthem, marked by snare drums, piccolo, and a full symphonic treatment. It is mostly unison except for an optional divisi from bar 71 to the end, where singers break into three parts (also optional). (from Music K-8, Vol. 36, No. 3)

(Run time: 2:37)
