HOMES (A Song About The Great Lakes)

From Plank Road Publishing

by John Riggio

HOMES is a mnemonic song designed to help your students learn the names of the Great Lakes. It stands for Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior.

We provide you with two versions of the song. The longer version includes interesting factoids about the Great Lakes, while the shorter version has only the singing. Whichever version you use, your students will never forget the names of the Great Lakes again! (from Music K-8, Vol. 27, No. 4)
