Thank you for the prayers. I’m still wondering if I’m in the right profession. 🙄 Though I think I figured out what my deal is…
I’ve been in a lot of pain in 2 ways the last 2 years: 1) my wife of 30 years passed away two years ago, and it’s been very rough, and 2) about a year ago I fell and have a excruciating pain on my left side from hip to toes. Nothing except bending over and touching the floor ever helped. I did two Cortizone back injections of which neither helped, and I was on the road to back surgery. I met a stranger at a concert at the Atlanta Symphony Hall about 2 months ago, who had back issues worse than mine, and she suggested going to her posture therapist here in Atlanta. It’s called The Egoscue Method. Even though it isn't covered by insurance, I decided to try it. What can I really lose except a few bucks? Well, actually, a lot of bucks, since insurance does not cover this kind of therapy! From the moment I started the back therapy exercises two weeks ago I have had no pain (absolutely none!). 20 minutes of back exercises twice a day and it saved me back surgery. I’m a believer! I just wish the pain of grief could be cured as quickly, but I am managing.
I think both of these things contributed to my sense of hopelessness. I don’t feel that anymore, and feel like I’m headed in the right direction, at least.
Again, thank you for the prayers.

I'm happy to see activity on the list! I think I meant to reply when Brian
wrote not long ago - I, too, hope things are better.
I also met Nikki a few years ago at one of Denise and Artie's symposiums in
Dallas - also met Deanna Peters there. I've been fortunate to meet several
others throughout the years and keep up via Facebook.
