Those are the natural finish. I have never had one of those splinter or crack. I've had bad luck with Rhythm Band's blue ones.

I love the Basic Beat sticks from West music. They come in two sizes (regular and smaller) and wear like iron.

What Rhythm sticks have you found that are the most durable?

During a Google search I found some that look like the ones that I have (12” 5/8”) that are old but have lasted a while. However there’s quite a few other brands that have received bad reviews… Breaking or splitting after just several uses.

I don’t mind paying a little extra for nice, durable ones.
