Are these students going to eventually be in your program?
What about your procedures for your classroom? Tuning?
Teach them how to practice on their own
Where to find resources online - videos for their instruments, play along
tracks
Will they be marching eventually? You could even take them outside
I definitely like the sight reading idea. Do you have a formula for
introducing a new piece of music?
What about your warm ups?
