I bought some used foam squares (like people put together like a puzzle for their garage floor). Mine are 24 x 24. I can spread these out enough that for movement that is normally locomotor, they can just go around their square doing it. I didn't plan that when I got them but the kids started doing it and its worked well. They seldom run in to each other. Lol
