My ‘marker boards’ were hung high enough that my Reno World Music Drums and ‘skinnier’ of our barred instruments fit under the “marker traysâ€(yes, they stuck out some, but every little bit of space I could get I could use . I only needed to leave however much space I needed for kids to reach the board. I also had some round spots from a p.e. catalog. It was easier to separate kids -and give you some ‘social distancing.’
Good luck.
