Musical ensembles are one of the few places where students learn and
practice the 21st Century Skills of collaboration, creative
problem-solving, self-reliance, use of higher-order thinking, how to be
empathetic, encouraging, accountable to their peers, and above all...the
thrill of musical performance and joy of making and sharing music.
