That's a great idea, Curtis! My district is not allowed to do anything like that yet. However, the idea of a "brick wall" has been discussed on here before, where students can put their military family member's name on a paper "brick" and color it for them. It wouldn't be a part of the parade, of course, but it would be nice in the halls, and they could take their brick home later.

We are looking at planning an outside parade with each class preparing and sharing things (speeches, posters) either virtually or posters, etc. Maybe an emergency personnel escort for the veteran's? Music outside through speakers? Flags?
