I always did a two-part program - first part any Christmas musical or
collection of Christmas songs, not necessarily sacred, then part two was a
Christmas pageant with carols interspersed. Each part was 15-20 minutes and
people left with the real meaning of Christmas in their ears and hearts.
My favorite Music K-8 musical was "How the Penguins Saved Christmas." I can
give you costuming suggestions if you choose that.
