So last Sunday night, my computer decided to spit out CDs without burning them, and I went through about 8 before decided that maybe I needed a new external CD burner.
Bought new external burner Monday night, same problem, so I posted a question on the Apple Support Community, and one of the solutions I heard was that you can only burn a song, purchased from iTunes, a maximum of 7 times.

Is this true?

How come I never knew this?

Some of these songs are on playlists that I use every year, with some revision from year to year.

Does this mean, if it is true, that I have to repurchase the tune?

And is this true if you purchase the tune from Amazon downloads?

Thanks so much! Could have saved myself $40 for the new CD burner, plus the 12 ruined CDs if I had known this!
