To continue: My Kala is model no. KA-S. It has a white trim around thebody with gears for the tuners. It comes with Nylgut strings; says it is ahigher quality than the best nylon strings...aquilacorde.com. Last year Iused 3/4 guitars. This year ukelele's. They are the right size for handsof kinders. I love the huge beams on their faces when we picked the fourstrings so they could hear My Dog Has Fleas. I'm introducing the ukesindividually to each child with the help of their classroom teacher. Thisis so much better than handing they out en mass. This is my first week with them. I'm excited to begin this new journey.EllieOn Thu, Sep 26, 2013 at 12:33 PM, Eleanora Wong wrote:> Am a recipient of 30 kala Ukeleles from guitars in the classroom, a> nonprofit giving guitars and Ukeleles to teachers who learn their> curriculum.
