I try to bring out their favorites that they enjoyed all year
Bring out some favorite songs and maybe add instruments or a dance
I sing, I've Been Harlem.... and we use cups.
Limbo
On the Any Turkey Can Tango CD their is a song called. Down Home Barbeque. I give them 2 paper plates and we do a dance routine.
My kids love Jeopardy
Patriotic songs are good since Memorial day is coming.
I just go through my files and bring out things that I just never got to or forgot I had. Could way to clean out or refresh my memory!!!!
Scavenger Hunt
Susan in Va. last day for "official music" on to SOLs. I guess we will get a schedule today at the faculty meeting. last week of June 10th, back to regular classes, will be field day and keeping them occupied.

Hello everyone!!
My school year is winding down quickly!! I know several of you will see
students into June, but we are down to our last two week so school here in
Colorado!
My 4th & 5th graders just finished up a Centers Unit on Treble Clef Reading
and Note Recognition 2 CLASSES EARLY!!! I will see them twice more before
the end of the year, however I was planning on this Unit taking up most of
that time.
Do any of you have any "tried-and-true" activities for the older elementary
students at the end of the year. I don't want to just put on a video for
them to watch for the last few times I get to see them ...
If any of you have some ideas you'd be willing to share it would be greatly
appreciated!!
I do know I have the Animusic Videos .... Does anyone have an activity you
do while watching these?
