Oh yes--I remember the "good old days" (15 or 20 years ago) when we didn't =
start with specials for a day or so, to give the kids time to settle in, an=
d we quit teaching classes a day or so early, to give time to the teachers =
to wrap things up with their class. Now? Who needs time to meet your new t=
eacher--it's off to music,or wherever, and right to the last minute. Judy=

You better believe they will be here to get their planning time. The speci=
alists' cover the teacher's planning times and they expect to have it from=
the first minute school starts until the last minute of the last day. No =
one misses music on purpose.
