Whack Attack!

by John Riggio

It's whacky! It's fun! It's "Whack Attack!" In this high energy piece we've done a bit of a parody of a classic 1980s hit, which shall remain nameless, but whose name rhymes with... Nevermind! You'll figure it out.

As with all of our Boomwhacker® pieces, it can be played on any C instrument. It is easy enough to read, but the tempo (158 bpm) may challenge some inexperienced players, so before attempting it, be sure to drink your Ovaltine®. Failing that, you may want to rehearse it at a slower tempo. (See the article in Volume 13, Number 1 regarding rehearsing and playing Boomwhackers® for help.) As we discovered at a recent Bosses' Day celebration here at Plank Road, practice really does help accuracy where Boomwhackers® are concerned.

Did we mention you should use the CD with this piece? It won't be nearly as fun without it.
