Warp Factor Five

by M.C. Handel

M.C. Handel has gone galactic on us with this latest recorder piece! You might think you hear some familiar strains in this one, but we can categorically say, "not quite."

The emphasis for recorders is on five notes: E, G, A, B, and D. The divisi at the beginning is optional, but would sure be fun for your kids to play. It recurs throughout the piece, so you might even let your players alternate which note they play. (Note: We also give you a one bar count-off on the cassette, since the recorders begin in the first measure.)

The style for the piece, once it gets under way, is rock and includes a lot of really neat sci-fi synthesizer sound effects. Be sure to let your kids listen to it.
