From Classical Destinations Educational

Classical Destinations is a unique multimedia curriculum that introduces the world of classical music to young people in Grades 5 and up. Your students will travel through six multimedia destinations, each one a journey through the music and culture of a particular country. The six destinations include Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Russia, and Scandinavia.

Each destination kit includes a DVD and CD-ROM and the carefully structured units consist of easy-to-use video, audio, MIDI, interactive quizzes, and specially-designed orchestral scores to introduce key concepts of classical music.

The companion book to Classical Destinations contains more than 200 stunning color photographs. It takes readers on a tour of the history and geography of classical music, examining the lives of the great composers as related to their places of birth, education, triumphs, and failures.
