What I learned in 30 years:Â you cannot go wrong (especially with grades 3 and below) by simply taking material that you're using in your lessons, putting it on the stage with a little bit of order and blocking. Parents love it, you don't have to have "extra rehearsals" taking everyone's class time, and the parents love it! Put a little student-read narration in between each introducing the piece/lesson/background.
