I have never done this, but would HIGHLY recommend Patty Bourne for a
clinician. She is very 'real world' - still currently teaching
elementary in the Seattle area (Bothell), and is WONDERFUL. She
adjudicated and did the clinic for my middle school choir at contest a
couple years ago. She has a couple of books out, too, which have
become standard for a lot of elementary music methods classes.
("Inside the Music Classroom" and "Inside the Elementary School
Chorus"). And did I mention how NICE she is?

Also, look to local children's chorus directors (like Judy Herrington
from TYC), but know that they are also used to more elite students,
since they have tuition based, auditioned choirs.

I know the major roadblock we (FWPS) have is finding a facility
available/affordable/large enough. Are you thinking Saturday? Or
school day?
