I HAVE A DREAM, a special tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is an emotional, patriotic, and moving song which can be used to introduce or reinforce the study of this great man. We are including it in this issue so that you can prepare it for a timely celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (January 21, 1991).

As intense as the tune has the ability to get, the melody is really pretty easy. It is unison (with an optional divisi on the last few notes), and very repetitious, so it might be o.k. for younger kids, too.

The P/A Cassette is particularly effective for this song, and includes a stirring instrumental accompaniment. The military snare drum alone adds a degree of majesty capable of raising goose bumps.
