PROGRAM NOTES:

"The Eagle And The Turkey" is a Thanksgiving folk tale of how the Eagle became our National Emblem and the Turkey became our Thanksgiving dinner. It is fun and informative, with many parts - one class or several may participate.

Setting: This play does not require scenery and may be put on in an auditorium or Rec Room.

Cast: Simply divide your students into EAGLES and TURKEYS. You may opt to have paper wings which flap at the appropriate time.

Duration: 20 minutes
