This song encourages us to give thanks for the many blessings we enjoy. It's easy to look at situations in our lives (or even the world at large) and complain, but we're happier people when we take on an attitude of gratitude. We unburden our hearts when we're thankful. Gratitude improves our outlook and there are health benefits to it.

This song would be a nice addition to a Thanksgiving program or any performance where gratitude is the theme.
