I am in need of ideas for summer school music enrichment. The schedule
will be for 40 minutes per grade level, K-3rd. There could be as many as
45-50 kids per group. I will see them in 3 consecutive days. I only have
12 tubano drums. So, my original idea to do drumming may not be feasible
with that many kids. I do have enough xylophones if they share an
instrument. One person could play while the other person practices on a
tone bell chart. Then, they switch. Also, songs with movement ideas that
would work well with a large group in the gym.
