--Have to look for special earbuds that are small enough to fit comfortably. I cannot use the standard-issue Apple ones at all. They hurt no matter how I wear them.
--Get heebie-jeebies thinking about putting earbuds into my ears that someone else had in their ears. And those heebie-jeebies have nothing to do with Covid, just a general yuck factor because my own earbuds can get a bit waxy, you know? Definitely don't wanna flirt with someone else's earwax. Blegh.
For those reasons, I would try to get some headphones. If they want something different, they can bring their own. (Yes, I realize not everyone can buy them nor remember them, but in that case, it would be "Well then, you get what you get, and you don't pitch a fit.")

Some students enjoy the bigger headphones, but I have found that many complain about those 'hurting' their ears because it squishes their ears up against their heads. In my experience, students who have autistic characteristics enjoy the headphones more because it tends to block out more sound. But for the general run of things, I would buy class sets of earbuds.

Love the digital instruments on some sites, especially for ipads and tablets.
I'd like to get headphones or earbuds for my students. Which do you prefer? Any brands you like to use?
So far, the most cost effective seem to be the earbuds (connecting with the standard tiny headphone jack). I know these could work with my favorite belkin headphone splitter if needed.
