The theme of my spring program for the first and second grade is Animal Songs. I have been searching for some headbands or simple hats for the children to wear. After a suggestion from another teacher, I made headbands out of Zoo Plates. I cut out the face shapes and stapled them onto stretchy headbands from a dollar store. They are darling, and the kids are so excited to wear them!
