A Recorder Christmas by John Riggio of Plank Road Publishing is wonderful! The way I did it was adding voice parts instead of doing all recorder. Most of the songs repeat at least twice. We sang, played, and finished with the singing of the first verse again. The students only had to memorize the first verse, which is what they usually know anyway. Why go into all the verses when you can sing (A section), play recorders (B section) and sing again (A section)?
