I teach all of my students this simple line note song starting in kindergarten and they love it! Sing to the tune of Bingo.

"There was a staff that had a clef and treble was its name-o
E G B D F
E G B D F
E G B D F and treble was its name-o"

I have a large staff on the wall made from Velcro and thick tag board. The lines are rough Velcro and the notes (circles with letter names on them) have the soft part stuck on the back. After each verse, I take one note off of the staff starting with E and ending with F. With that many repetitions of the song, the kids are very confident about the names.
