I reorganized my list of objectives, songs for each grade, and skills checklist. What I basically did was take the objectives for each grade level and divide them into four quarters. This gives me a guide for what things to focus on and helps me to make sure I don't forget anything each year. This is a simplified list and does NOT contain all of the objectives. Some objectives like "sing or play alone and with others" happens every time anyway, so I didn't include it on the list. (There are several like that I didn't include.)

To this list, I added a short skills checklist for each grade level. I didn't use this last year, but wanted it to help me focus my lessons on assessable skills.

In the yellow box, I included some songs for each grade level that I didn't want to forget. I used lots of Music K-8 songs for grades 2-8 that change a little with my mood each year, so I didn't include all of those.

I squeezed all of these onto one sheet (or a half-sheet) of paper. I've added the objective numbers that relate to my curriculum for the first couple of classes and then thought 'Hey, maybe folks I share it with don't want that!' So I'll add those on a later version.

I'll use these sheets every week while planning. Last year I wore a couple of copies out! Maybe I should laminate?
