Here is a great patriotic program that I taught to my 1st and 2nd graders. I even added a script that the 2nd graders read. The program list that was printed on the programs is listed first. The actual performance script and song order is listed below that.

Narrator 1: We welcome you to our concert today where you will hear songs of pride and love for our country. This is a land of freedom... This is America!
All Grades:

Narrator 2: We would like to recognize all of those people who have fought to defend and protect our country; for the heroes gone before us and for those living in our community. Please, stand and be recognized by our school community if you are... in the military... a firefighter... police officer... veteran... or in any other branch of service to our country. Thank you for your service to our community and country. Please, be seated!

Narrator 3: This is America and we are Americans. No matter if our skin color is light or dark, we are all Americans. No matter if we are rich or poor, or go to different churches, we are still Americans. And, we cry American Tears.

Narrator 4: We celebrate the land we love and feel the pride that swells inside. Our nations' songs we love to sing as patriotic thoughts take wing.

Narrator 5: Now is the time to make our choices to show our pride in freedom‚s voices. We can be strong, we can be heard. Our country needs us to share these words.
