One of the hardest things for me is to have time to record rhythmic accuracy, vocal intonation, etc. This year, I used blank overhead transparencies over each seating chart. They are taped to each seating chart on one side only so that I can change the seating if needed. I use an overhead pen to quickly put a - / + * by each name as I listen to them. I record these at the end of the day and wipe off the chart. It has really helped me and is so quick the kids don't even know I'm recording - they just think I'm keeping track of who has had a turn. Come to think of it, recording on the transparency accomplishes this as well!
