I made a great bulletin board that reads "Rhythm doesn't bug us!" Students were asked to compose rhythmic ideas of various length, and those who did so correctly used a marker to write it down the back of a ladybug I had drawn and photocopied onto red paper. Names were also written on the front. The bugs were stapled to the board around hills randomly placed with tufts of grass. I also used some bees and dragonflies.
