Question: How did you do the costumes for the caterpillars turning into butterflies? I've got a few ideas, but can't get it quite right. How did they 'morph' on stage?
Answer: I made sure my butterflies had soft fabric wings that just hung down from there arms, i.e., no poster board or anything like that. Then, we wrapped them in cheesecloth. When it came time to morph, they each had an assistant bug on stage to unwrap them. It was beautiful, easy, and cheap. :)
