For the chorus of "Proud" (from the revue Proud): We did a side-to-side stepping pattern, where we posed on the last part.

Step, step, step, point to self ("Who I am?"). Other Side - step, step, step, hands to sides ("What I am?"). Other Side - step, step, step, peering with hand over eyes ("Where I'm going?"), et cetera.

"On The Day I Was Born": We did the sign language, then on the chorus, we used big cardboard animals I had made for my church's "Noah's Ark" program. Cute cartoon-like guys with sticks attached. Believe it or not, the 5th graders thought they were totally cool!

"Identity": The kids loved doing solo "free style" dancing after each sentence for the verses. Then, on the chorus, we did the same type of stepping pattern, except forward and back with a Motown style clap and bend at the end.

"Teach Me Well": We did a ribbon dance on the chorus, making 8's in the front plane.

"I'm A Citizen Of This World": We actually did a crazy big circle, spreading out a big fabric globe in the middle.
