Here is a fast and easy penguin costume idea for The Penguin Polka (from Music K-8, Vol. 10, No. 2 also available as a Singles Reproducible Kit).
Have the kids wear black tops and bottoms. Round the bottom edges of a 12x18 sheet of white construction paper. Create and paste a polka-dotted paper bow tie on the top straight edge. Then create white paper cuffs with a polka-dot buttons for their arms. Tie them on with yarn. Fast, easy, and CUTE!
