Question: I need help! I was asked to come up with a song for the teachers to sing during the Christmas Program this year. We are looking for something funny.

Answer: I have used this idea with success before - a take on The 12 Days Of Christmas (which would work with 12 teachers) - each has a verse, and everyone joins in on the class party part:

"On the first day of Christmas a student said to me, "When is the class party?"
2nd - "I lost my gloves."
3rd - "I'm gonna tell."
4th - "Is the test today?"
5th - "Is it recess yet?"
6th - "We did that last year."
7th - "My dog ate my homework."
8th - "I don't get it."
9th - "Can I get a drink?" - (corrected to "May I..." by a principal, perhaps?)
10th - "He was talking, too!"
11th - "He cutted me!"
12th - "NOW I get it!"
End with teachers singing or trying to sing :) a little part of "Hallelujah Chorus."

This is very funny, especially because the teachers really get into mimicking their students' whines, gripes, and tattles often heard the last few days before holiday break. Hope this helps...
