I play a Go Fish Music game with my students. I made instruments cards using Print Shop. I used the Post-It note size template. I made 4 of each instrument, labeled the instrument, and then laminated the set. I think I have about 20 different instruments. I made 4 sets of these.

The kids are put into groups of 4 or 5 and they play the game just like regular Go Fish. "Danny, do you have any trumpets?" "No. Go fish." They make books of four cards. The person with the most books at the end wins.

But... they all win because they are reviewing instruments. You can also make the groups instrument families and separate the instruments that way, so you have a good review of the families.

My 3rd and 4th graders really like to play this game.
