I am using "You Are Our Heroes" (from Music K-8, Vol. 12, No. 4, also available as a Singles Reproducible Kit) for Veterans Day and have asked our families to bring in a picture of one or two Veterans in uniform. I scan them and put them in the presentation (four to a slide) and add information about the Veterans: name, branch of service, dates served, and relationship to the student who brought the picture in.
I think it will be very meaningful to our student body and the Veterans! I expect tears!!!!
