Just like in a soccer game, I have been thinking about using the YELLOW card/RED card technique in the music classroom as a means of discipline. Yellow card = warning! Red card = automatic disciplinary action! Two yellow cards during one class period are equivalent to a red card. I would have some yellow and red index cards in the classroom. If someone gets a warning or a violation, they must write their full name, grade, the violation/warning, and the date on the card. I would file their cards and use them for grading.
