In one of my classes (6th), I got them before even the classroom teacher did, and we just talked about it the whole time. Otherwise, we sang "God Bless America" for the older kids and "Light The Candles All Around The World" with the younger ones (I know it's a holiday/celebrations song, but it's a favorite of theirs and they had heard so much about lighting candles). We've been wearing ribbons all week that the kids have made. The whole school also had a moment of silence, with "The Star-Spangled Banner" playing over the intercom.
