I do a really fun activity for Easter that my kids LOVE... The "noisy" Easter Egg Hunt!

I buy plastic Easter eggs. I fill two eggs with tacks, two with a bingo chip, two with a penny, two with beads, two with chalk, two with hooks, two with popcorn kernels, etc... you get the idea. Anyway, do as many as you need. When the class comes in, as many eggs as you have students are already hidden. I give them directions to find only ONE egg and then go back to their seats! After they've all found the egg, it's time for the HUNT. They have to go around the room and find the egg that sounds exactly like theirs and sit with that person. When everyone has found their match, I go around the room and we check to see who matched correctly, and they get an Easter treat.

The kids love it!! If you have an uneven amount of students you can have one student find two eggs. Enjoy!
