I thought I'd share an idea I've been doing with this song.
I don't use the demo version because I don't want my kids to run around. And we don't stand in a line because my room is not big enough.
I use colored spots on my floor for them to sit on (5 rows x 6 columns). I use the rainbow colored SitSpots and they have an assigned spot to find when they enter my room.
When we sing the main song "about standing in a line" the kids find ANY colored spot to stand on like a statue.
Instead of the running part I choose a different movement for them to do, like:
- Walk
- Jump
- Sideways walk
- Robot
- Moon walk
- Crawl
- Slow motion
- Tip toe
- The shoot
- Etc…
My kids ask for it all the time!
