I found six different, creepy crawly things to put in my pumpkins (e.g., spiders, eyeballs, centipedes, etc.) and created a slide for each grade level based on the rhythms they currently know. Each creepy crawly thing is next to a rhythm on the screen. When the pumpkin stops on the word "you," that person has to close his/her eyes and pull something out. For the younger grades, we all find the associated rhythm and read it together as I point. For the upper grades, that student reads the rhythm and then the class echoes it.

This game has been a big hit, especially with my 3rd graders.
