My sixth-graders enjoyed singing "Warm-Up In Gee (and Gosh Golly)," from Music K-8, Vol. 11, No. 1, so much that I adapted it to use in their Christmas concert.
- Part 1: Fa La La
- Part 2: Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, too.
- Part 3: Ho Ho
We added simple actions to each section as well.
- Part 1: "opera" hands joined at waist
- Part 2: leaned from side to side, changing sides every four beats
- Part 3: held belly like like Santa laughing
